I parked here yesterday (early Nov) to backpack up Big Frog. At lower elevations the colors were very bright, but toward the top all the leaves had already fallen. The parking is limited, it can hold around eight cars, more if you block your friends in. The trail is in good condition and obvious. Water is very limited, bring your own, although there is a 'spring' you can use (purify it!) just past the peak. The peak is roughly 6 miles and 2000ft from the trailhead.

Camping spots are a little sparse at the peak itself, but there are plenty of good places on the ridge as you approach the peak. Beware of coyotes and bears. Use your head and have fun.
