Based on a rec from our cabin rental place, we booked with OAC for the last trip of the day. Three in our group were first-timers and we wanted an outstanding experience for them. We spotted a guide we hoped for as soon as we stepped off the bus and by a stroke of the best luck, we got him! Gator Man rocked it the whole trip -- immediately assigning perfect nicknames for each of us, sharing funny "true" stories, history of the Ocoee, jokes that kept us laughing the whole way, and giving us the ride of our lives. Can't wait to do the Upper next time!
Out of over 20 Rafting Companies on the Ocoee OAC is the best! Fantastic guides, exceptional management team, and extremely helpful customer service. A great experience from the word go! You might pay a few dollars less with a cut rate company but what's your safety worth to you? As always remember... If you enjoyed your ride, tip your guide!
Gator was our guide and he was awesome. This was my family's 3rd annual trip a different guide each time and they were all wonderful.
This is the best place to go! Everyone here is very friendly and accommodating. Prices are reasonable for the great experience you will receive. If you come here, ask for Tyler! He has great jokes and knew a lot of history about the river. This is definetly the place to go to if you want to see the workers truly enjoy what they do. Amazing amazing amazing! And the bus driver, Bob will recommend an awesome BBQ Place called Herbs. I am so thankful we found this place!
Had an amazing time whitewater rafting with the OAC this past summer. If you're going ASK FOR FAST FRED. I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. He was an amazing guide that was super knowledgable about the area, stressed safety above everything else, and made any nerves I had just melt away. This guy was legendary.
